Don’t be a babe in the woods, get armed and protect yourself.

Since the creation of this country women have had to work for the rights we have today and are still looked upon as the weaker sex and as not as capable as males.

Hypothetically, this makes us women an easy target in most assailants’ eyes. We are smaller and not as strong physically. A criminal looks for things like that when they are looking for someone to be their target; what they don’t expect however is for her to be heavily armed.

Why Women Should Carry

Carrying a gun is one of the best ways for a woman to be able to protect herself. People don’t expect us to be carrying a gun so we always have the element of surprise on our side.

When I tell anybody that I work in a gun store and start having a full conversation about firearms with them they sit there in shock, and little do they know I’m also carrying.

Carrying will make you more confident, less concerned about going to that one side of town that can get a little sketchy. When I am left alone at the store for a period of time, having a gun on my hip, and also the 30 guns surrounding me, I feel pretty damn safe, comfortable, and not too concerned about who walks in; if they tried to pull anything on me, it would be a bad day for them!

Knowing you have a firearm and the power to protect yourself, if need be, is a great feeling. That being said about your confidence, you will grow to be constantly more aware of your surroundings. People walk around all the time with their head down in their cell phone paying absolutely no attention to what is going on around them, making themselves perfect targets for an assault.

Carrying a firearm will make you more aware of your surroundings

Carrying a firearm helps you to always keep yourself at a moderate level of awareness, because that gun on your hip reminds you and keeps you alert.

Another positive to carrying concealed is your significant other won’t worry about you as much, also boosting your confidence. You walk out that door for the day and he knows that you have a reliable form of protection with you at all times, and he probably finds it really attractive. No man is turned off to a woman knowing how to handle a firearm, or carrying one.

You now also hear less of how he worries about you and doesn’t want you going to that part of town alone. You know they mean well but it gets tiring hearing it so often, but luckily your polymer framed little friend will help you get the worry comments off your back.

To be a victim is a completely avoidable situation. Always be aware of surroundings, don’t walk around staring down at your phone. At the very least carry a pocket knife or pepper spray with you at all times, I carry almost three knives and pepper spray with me all the time, but the best thing to do is carry a firearm.

You won’t feel nearly as afraid as you did before. Carrying a gun can be a life saving decision for yourself or someone else.

An armed society is a safer society!
Get armed and never let yourself become someone’s victim.
